CAQH Announces Healthcare Industry Veteran Roger Mermelstein as Senior Vice President, Business Development

CAQH today announced that Roger Mermelstein has joined the organization as Senior Vice President, Business Development. In this role, he will lead sales and account management for the non-profit alliance’s health plans and other participating organizations, and serve on the CAQH leadership team. 

An accomplished executive with a proven track record building high performing teams, Mr. Mermelstein is recognized across the healthcare industry for his ability to develop long-term client relationships built on trust and exceptional service.

CAQH is an alliance of health plans and associations working together to improve provider data, accelerate automation and streamline the business of healthcare. The organization’s flagship solution, CAQH ProView, enables 1.6 million providers and 1,000 participating organizations to exchange information for use in credentialing, network directories and other essential processes.

Prior to joining CAQH, Roger was the Chief Sales Officer at Innovation Health, a health plan jointly owned by Aetna and Inova, where he rebuilt the sales and service organization, with a focus on the commercial and Medicare segments. As Vice President, National Accounts for Hanger, Inc., the largest provider of orthotic and prosthetic services in the US, he led the sales and service organization in the health plan market segment. Earlier in his career, Roger held positions of increasing responsibility at Aetna, Aetna Dental, United Health Dental, and NYLCARE Health Plans.

Roger has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami, Miami, FL.
